  • Journal about one positive experience in the past 24 hours:

I write a lot about the rosary.  On school days this prayerful time occurs during my lunch period and almost always in the chapel, but today we needed to find a different place, as a theology class was coming in.  We could have cancelled, but instead we headed to the auditorium, only to find it locked.  Next we tried a basement office, but it, too, was locked. Again, we could have left it at that, simply missed a day, but we didn't. We ended up in a classroom, and between the three of us, there were so many special intentions that we knew why we kept searching.  Since meeting Pete and Dee (my two prayer partners/colleagues) and committing to this time, I rarely skip a day and only do so when I have no choice but to work through that period.  There are many reasons to feel grateful for my job, but this opportunity to pray a daily rosary is truly a blessing!
